An educational documentary intended to inform engineers and product managers on the daily life challenges of mobility-impaired individuals.

A Day with Danny is an educational documentary showcasing technology and Cerebral Palsy, originally intended for internal engineering purposes. The short video depicted the daily life experiences of my brother Daniel who is a wheelchair user. The intent of the video was to provide insight and enhanced awareness to facilitate user research and product development of new technologies that could assist persons with disabilities. I coordinated and selected the different actors involved, wrote the script, and facilitated the filming process. The result was an effective, informative, educational narrative about a young man with Cerebral Palsy and his daily life. A Day with Danny, along with six other short films resulted in Google.org donating $20 million to unconventional technologies in the disability space and hosting the world’s largest “Disability Makeathon.”
